Anxiety, depression, human relationships, and work stress all can make us feel we are not in control of our own lives. My focus as a therapist is on disempowering these dysfunctions and misalignments while helping the individual build greater self-awareness, self-esteem, efficacy, and empowerment.
About
Hello I’m Timothy Wever
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). However, I wasn’t always a therapist. I received a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Montana and subsequently spent 25 years as an Information Technologies professional engaged in database development and systems implementation before receiving my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2015. I am also a practicing Zen Buddhist with over 30 years of personal experience in mindfulness practices and more than 15 years as a meditation instructor.
